Asbury Arts Center – North Florida Dance Center has been serving the Green Cove Springs, Orange Park, and Middleburg communities since 2005 and has been under new ownership since 2019. The mission of the program is “Making the performing arts accessible to all who aspire to live life creatively.” The program notes that it has professional and knowledgeable staff. Each classroom and lobby are equipped with cameras, all doors in the units have alarm systems that will sound when triggered, and classrooms and lobby areas are cleaned and disinfected regularly. Cubbies are provided in the Lobby A hallway for dance and gym bags, and families are asked to use them to avoid tripping in the walkways. The program offers free trials all year round, with music lesson trials having a one-day private lesson fee, and call/text contact is available at any time, with return calls made when a voicemail is left. Asbury Arts Center – North Florida Dance Center has been recognized as a Neighborhood Favorite.

One parent, Leslie Larson, states that the teaching staff provides excellent and professional instruction in dance, tumbling, and music lessons, and that her family is thankful to be part of the Asbury Arts family. Another adult student, Robin McLin, shares that this is her seventh recital with Asbury Arts Center and that she has felt welcomed by teachers and younger students from day one. Liz Williams describes how her child Rosie, who learns differently, was invited to try a class and has been able to thrive and shine in something she loves at Asbury Arts Center.
