WinShape Camps for Communities includes daily activities such as Rec, Team Time, Village Rally, Snack City, Skill 1, Lunch, Worship, Skill 2, and Power Surge. Campers take part in age-specific activities that can include science, crafts, epic competition, outdoor adventure, daily worship, music, prayer, and devotions. Specific experiences at camp can include chances to shoot an arrow, climb a rock wall, play basketball, sing songs, read the Bible, row a canoe, and toast a marshmallow.

WinShape Camps for Communities is a faith-based camp centered around Jesus, with age-specific content and a wide variety of skills. Camp days include a mix of indoor and outdoor moments, physical activity, creative play, outrageous fun and games, intentional conversation, and rest. Campers completing grades K5–5th cultivate their God-given skills and talents, and camp is described as one part fun, two scoops of friendship, all covered in faith. Campers have epic adventures at camp all day and sleep at home at night, and the experience is refreshed every year with age-specific activities and content.
Camp days are intentionally designed to give campers the best camp experience possible while learning truths about Jesus through Bible-based teaching, daily worship, music, prayer, and devotions. WinShape Camps’ mission is to glorify God by creating experiences that transform campers and families with the message of Jesus Christ. WinShape Camps offers overnight camp, family camp, and day camp experiences, and WinShape Camps for Communities brings the ultimate day camp right to neighborhoods. WinShape Camps International works with partners in Brazil and Costa Rica to execute fun, locally led day camp experiences that unite local churches and communities outside of the United States with the message of Jesus Christ through the experience of camp.
Summer Staff at WinShape Camps are described as top-notch and trained by experts. Each applicant goes through an extensive application process and a 30-minute face-to-face interview, followed by a background check and safety training before a week of intentional development from experts. Over 800 professionally trained Summer Staff representing 100 different colleges and universities from 30+ states work at WinShape Camps, and each staff member is a follower of Jesus Christ.
WinShape Camps launched its first overnight camp in 1985 and has created camps for the last 40 summers. Over 40 years ago, WinShape launched its first overnight camp on the campus of Berry College in Rome, Georgia.
Families provide lunch each day, and camp provides snacks. WinShape Camps are “nut-aware” and have limited nut exposure as much as possible, with meals and snack times that are nut free. Families are asked not to send food or snacks that contain any type of nuts, and snacks containing nuts are returned to the camper at the end of the session or week. All campers are required to submit a current physical and immunization record uploaded to the camper’s CampDoc Medical Health Profile by May 1, and campers with incomplete Health Profiles after May 1 are moved to the waitlist and their spot offered to another camper. All oral medications must be separated by individual doses and sealed, with prescription medications, vitamins, and supplements blister packed by a pharmacist, and over-the-counter medications separated by individual doses and sealed in manufacturer’s packaging or blister packed by a pharmacist.
