Specialty Camps

Specialty Camps serves children ages 5-12, and some camps are limited to grades K-5th. The program includes Kids Day Off Camp, Fall Mini Camp, Winter Break Camp, and Spring Break Camp, with specific sessions offered during teacher planning days, fall recess, winter recess, and spring break. Facility hours are 8:00 AM-6:30 PM.

Programs

• Specialty Camps — Children ages 5-12; some camps specify grades K-5th only
• Kids Day Off Camp — Children currently attending MDCPS in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade · $20–$40 per day · Offered during Miami-Dade County Public School Teacher Planning days.
• Fall Mini Camp — Students ages 6-12 years old · $45–$60 per week · Offered during MDCPS fall recess, November 23-25, 2026.
• Winter Break Camp — Students ages 6-12 years old; students must be in grades K-5th only · $45–$60 per week · Offered December 21-23, 2026 and December 28-30, 2026.
• Spring Break Camp — Students ages 6-12 (in grades K-5th only) · $75–$95 per week · Offered from March 22-26, 2027.

About the provider

Registration is not complete until payment is received. Space is limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration requires a current report card with conduct and academic grades and Student ID number, a completed Specialty Camp Form, a copy of the birth certificate, a current photo of the child, and proof of Hialeah residency. Lunch and snacks are not provided, and parents need to send food items to camp unless notified otherwise.

Registration is not complete until payment is received. After a family is contacted for payment, registration is held for 3 days; if there is no response, the registration is placed on hold and the spot is no longer guaranteed. Walk-ins are not allowed after registration closes for Kids Day Off, Fall Mini Camp, Winter Break Camp, and Spring Break Camp.
