Scouting America North Florida Council Camps and Programs

Scouting America North Florida Council Camps and Programs includes Summer Camp, CPR Training, COPE Level 1 Instructor Training, Frontier Day September 2026, Fall Fellowship, National Youth Leadership Training, Monster Bash 2026, Wood Badge, the Fall Product Sale, and Campmaster Corps. Camp Shands’ summer camp program is designed for Scouts BSA troops who want to earn merit badges and learn Scouting skills. Other offerings include American Red Cross CPR and AED training for adults and children, a six-day advanced leadership course called National Youth Leadership Training, and family camp events such as Frontier Day and Monster Bash 2026.

Programs

• Summer Camp — Camp Shands’ summer camp program is designed for Scouts BSA troops who want to achieve advancement by earning merit badges, learn Scouting skills and have a fun.
• Fall Product Sale — The intent of the Fall Product Sale sale is to allow Units to raise funds to pay for their year round Camping Program.
• CPR Training — Training includes American Red Cross Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Training for Adult and Child.
• COPE Level 1 Instructor Training — The COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experiences) program helps youth become the leaders of tomorrow.
• Frontier Day September 2026 — Bring the entire family and enjoy a day of range and target activities.
• Fall Fellowship — OA Fellowship - Camp Shands.
• National Youth Leadership Training — NYLT is a six-day advanced leadership course designed to teach Scouts the tools, techniques, and skills.
• Monster Bash 2026 — Family Camp for ALL Cub Scouts & their families.
• Wood Badge — Wood Badge Course NST16-87-27.
• Campmaster Corps — The North Florida Council Campmaster Corps is a team of dedicated volunteers who help make weekends at our camps safe, welcoming, and fun for every visiting Scouting unit and family.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices in their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scouts Oath and Law. The North Florida Council Campmaster Corps is a team of volunteers who help make weekends at the camps safe, welcoming, and fun for visiting Scouting units and families. The service center is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

The North Florida Council does not offer refunds. Event Credits could be issued under certain circumstances.
