JaxParks Afterschool Programs include activities such as crafts, games, recreational sports, special events, homework assistance, arts, community outings, study time, fitness and active play, sports and games, arts and crafts, and team-building activities. The program also offers individualized programs as part of its afterschool options and seasonal camp.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Afterschool programs run Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the Duval County Public Schools calendar, with a separate Spring Break camp offered March 16–20, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and extended care starting at 7:30 a.m.
• Price: Club Rec and Teen Warehouse have no charge, Teen Warehouse special events and outings may require a fee, and JaxParks Spring Break Camp 2026 is a free full-day camp with extended care at no additional fee.
For JaxParks Spring Break Camp 2026, participants must bring their own lunch and snacks, and space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The mission of JaxParks is to enrich the quality of life in Jacksonville by providing diverse recreational, leisure, environmental and cultural opportunities for all residents and to administer programs and services that meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable people in the community. Through its Parks Partnership Program, JaxParks has a community involvement effort that promotes private support of the city's park system.
