First Coast YMCA Youth Programs

First Coast YMCA Youth Programs include summer camps, youth sports, before and afterschool activities, family events, and open pickleball. Open pickleball sessions are offered multiple days during the week. The programs also connect to other youth-focused spaces such as the Teen Center at Johnson Family YMCA, which is open Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 6:30pm.

• Schedule: Open pickleball is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 10:00am.

For nearly 120 years, the First Coast YMCA’s Camp Immokalee in Keystone Heights has been a retreat for people of all ages in Northeast Florida. The organization notes the impact of not having programs like basketball, summer camps, and spaces where kids can spend time. The leadership team includes Eric Mann, President and CEO of the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast. Community involvement connected to these programs includes Help Feed Our Community, work with Community Partners, and a Veterans Retreat with reflections shared by Necoia Shavers, Military Outreach Coordinator for the First Coast YMCA and U.S. Army Veteran.
