At Code Ninjas, the mission is for kids to learn real AI, Robotics and Coding skills through structured, hands-on lessons that feel like play, turning screen time into skill time and building problem-solving, creativity, and confidence with each activity, with experienced instructors in a fun, tech-driven environment. Code Ninjas Camps use Outcome-Based Learning, a student-centered approach that emphasizes setting clear learning goals and designing activities and assessments that enable learners to achieve those goals. The curriculum is developed with creation in mind so that students can express their imagination, experiment with new ideas, and have a sense of ownership and control over their creations.
Code Ninjas Camps feature themes kids tend to enjoy, including Robotics, Roblox, Minecraft, YouTube, and more. The program uses IMPACT, a proprietary learning platform designed to give Ninjas a tailored learning track through Belts, live feedback on their progress, and an engaging platform with feedback while they go through the real coding process. IMPACT helps develop key skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning skills.
Code Ninjas is the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids' coding franchise, with hundreds of locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Code Ninjas holds the International Society for Technology in Education Seal of Approval and notes that it is the only coding school that has that recognition. The organization states that it strives to have a positive relationship with the community by providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for kids outside of school, and one community member reported being blown away by the positive impact Code Ninjas has had on children in the community.
The Code Ninjas Prodigy Program offers Ninjas the chance to interact with leaders from some of the world's largest technology and gaming companies, visit major headquarters, and explore various career paths that coding can lead to. Winning Ninjas in this program visited Microsoft's Headquarters in Seattle, WA, including Microsoft’s Garage, and met with the Microsoft Minecraft team, the Microsoft MakeCode team, and engaged in conversations with other teams such as XBOX, Bing, and AI.
Parents have shared that their children enjoy Code Ninjas, are excited to show what they made each day, and leave with a smile, and one parent described Parent's Night Out as a great success. Other parents reported that their children loved the program, coded their first game within minutes, enjoyed friendly teachers, and experienced growth in coding knowledge, with one parent noting excellent staff and another highlighting the development of problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
