AYSO Region 1408 Youth Soccer includes Playground Soccer as one of its activities. Games and practices are held on weekday evenings during the week.

• Schedule: Games and practices on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings
The stated mission of AYSO Region 1408 Youth Soccer is that the safety and well-being of its players is the highest priority. The region is operated entirely by volunteers, and volunteers are described as the heart of AYSO Regions. The leadership team includes Regional Commissioner Dana Baker, Coach Administrator and Referee Administrator Leonard Key, and Child Volunteer Protection Advocate Barbra McKinney, with some board positions currently open.
AYSO Region 1408 Youth Soccer follows the Everyone Plays® philosophy. The region has a refund policy that requires refund requests no later than 4 weeks before the first scheduled game of the season for consideration of a refund of program fees. The $25 AYSO National fee is non-refundable, and once uniforms have been ordered, there will be no refunds given. If the region is unable to place a child on a team for any reason, a full refund of program fees will be given.
AYSO Regions partner with local businesses and community organizations for sponsorships that may include field signage, event support, scholarship assistance, equipment donations, and other community partnerships. Recommended and required equipment for players includes shin guards (required), soccer cleats (recommended), an age-appropriate soccer ball, and a water bottle.
