Campus KidCare offers activities such as arts & crafts, music & drama, discovery projects, special interest activities, table games, cup cooking experiences, environmental studies, educational movies, tutoring, sports, homework help, language skills practice, motor building activities, and social exercises. The program provides a nutritious snack each afternoon and is open to a limited number of children.

• Schedule: KidCare operates during the school-year at participating sites as well as Summer Camp.
Campus KidCare is an on-campus, school-based program located at the child’s school, and each site has its own telephone. Staff, volunteers, and specialists work within a staff/child ratio of 1:17. SSYFS Campus KidCare is an enrichment program created by the Polk County School System and local child care providers. The program is dedicated to providing a safe, accessible, affordable, developmentally sound child care program for elementary school children. The program is described as safe, accessible, developmentally sound, and affordable, and it is designed to provide benefits educationally, socially, culturally, emotionally, and academically.
