Pasco County Summer Day Camp

Pasco County Summer Day Camp offers Traditional Summer Day Camp, Jay B. Starkey Nature Camp, the CIT program, and EPIC. Traditional Summer Day Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and all participants must bring their own lunch and snack each day. Breakfast and lunch are only provided by the school board to Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park, James Irvin Civic Center, J. Ben Harrill Recreation Complex, and Veterans Memorial Park.

• Traditional Summer Day Camp — 5 to 12 who have completed kindergarten · Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. · $525–$665 per session
• Jay B. Starkey Nature Camp — 7 to 12 · $1,050 per session · Open to ages 7–12.
• CIT program — 13 to 17 · Open to teens ages 13–17.
• EPIC — 8 to 17 · $910 per session

About the provider

For 2026, registration is conducted through a lottery process. The program is open to Pasco County residents only for the full 7-week program. No partial refunds. Full refunds require 2 weeks’ notice and documentation for summer school, moving or prolonged health issues. Scholarship recipients still need to register online through the lottery or other registration dates. Limited to up to two children per family for the Resident Youth Scholarship Program.
