Camp Horizon offers activities such as sailing, canoeing, archery, and creative arts and crafts. The program takes place at a facility that includes a dining hall, original cabins, a main lodge, a chapel, a swimming pool, and new cabins.

For 50 years, Camp Horizon has operated as a Christian camp and retreat destination guided by Christian values. In the early 1970s, Camp Horizon used various properties in Central Florida until the current location was purchased in 1975, and the dining hall and original cabins were built in 1976. The mission at Camp Horizon is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching every person through the word of God that they may know Him and mature in their relationship with Him.
The camp’s leadership includes Director Jennifer Montero. The staff is all-volunteer, with dedicated and trained staff members, including second and third generation campers and leaders. Camp Horizon offers summer day camps and overnight camps for kids ages 8 through 17, with an emphasis on breaks from technology and a focus on spiritual growth and maturity through a deeper connection with Christ. A tuition assistance program with financial assistance is available.
In the off-season, Camp Horizon is a popular destination for church group retreats, weekend Bible conferences, and other Christian fellowships, and the property is available for off-season rentals to church groups seeking a peaceful space for fellowship and growth. Camp Horizon describes itself as “Florida’s Favorite Christian Camp and Retreat Destination” and highlights “50 Years of Life-Changing Ministry.”
