Founded in 1981, Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care was created by George and Pauline Miller, and the Miller family continues to own and operate Kiddie Academy. The mission of Kiddie Academy is: “We’re driven to prepare children for life. Through our passion for early childhood education, community commitment, and our Life Essentials® curriculum, we’re here to educate and encourage your child to do more and be more—not just while they’re with us, but outside the classroom as well.” The program uses a proprietary Life Essentials® curriculum that focuses on six key outcomes and is continuously enhanced by education experts. All Kiddie Academy educators must meet or exceed state requirements for child care providers, including background clearance, education qualifications, and ongoing professional development.
Each Kiddie Academy has secure entries, authorized pick-up procedures, cleaning protocols, and background checks for all staff, and follows Health EssentialsSM guidelines for health precautions and cleanliness. Employees are trained on health and safety protocols, and the organization focuses on benchmarking measures of excellence and proactively securing accreditation. Kiddie Academy describes itself as a community that nurtures, educates, and inspires children for the future in locations across the country.
