Avalon Family Charities offers education, training, and showing for riders and drivers, along with support for the purchase or sale of a horse. The program includes lessons, an academy with an academy show schedule, schooling shows, horse shows, group outings, and camps. Activities take place both on and away from the farm in an environment described as tranquil and as a home away from home, and the facility specializes in working with American Saddlebreds, Friesians, Standardbreds, Hackney Ponies, and Morgans.

The leadership team includes owner and trainer Pam Roush, associate trainer Lonna Carter, and riding instructors Holly Grandchamp and Tiffany Jenkins. Avalon has award winning instructors and a multitude of loyal riders and drivers who have been training and competing under its banner for over ten years.
