Realife has received the “Champions of Hope” award from Florida Gov. (text truncated in source). The organization asks supporters to assist child welfare kids who come to Realife by purchasing an “In God We Trust” license plate.
Campers and former campers have shared written testimonials about their experiences at Realife Summer Camp. Logan Messick stated that Realife Camp changed their life and helped them find Jesus and that they never want to leave. Samantha Oliveras wrote that they came to camp feeling hopeless and that at camp everything changed, saying the camp changed them in a way they never expected and that they gave their life to God and now have hope. A camper named David wrote that the camp was the best thing that happened to them, that they felt loved, and that they now believe Jesus is real. Jackie Edwards said that the love given to them at the camp showed them that God cares about them and that the camp helped them choose to follow God. Jon wrote that God used the people at camp to show them that they are loved and not alone anymore. Joseph shared that Realife Camp changed their life, that they were saved and baptized there, and that they came damaged and hurt but were leaving repaired. Keion wrote that it is fun to have fun with the staff, that it is a really fun place to be, that they like to learn about God, that they love the people there, and that they gave their life to Christ and it changed them. Grace Kukielka wrote that God set them free, broke their chains, and showed them who they really are, saying they are His, loved, forgiven, and free, and added “God bless Realife.” Cody wrote that they felt closer to God at camp, that it helped them understand why God loves them and why they should love Him, and that they understand they do not have to give God anything for Him to love them because He already does. Piper Murray wrote that they came to camp broken and that God worked a miracle in their heart and soul and that Realife helped show them the way. Another camper named David wrote that they learned that even when they think no one loves them, God will always love them and that His love is everlasting. Tyler Wanerka wrote that they were saved and baptized during the week, that Pastor Kevin was a blessing, that their counselor Jamie was excellent to be around, and that Mr. Bloodworth was someone to go to for guidance and wisdom, and said Realife turned their life around. Hunter Durden wrote that before coming to Realife they were a rebellious teenager involved in partying, drinking, and drugs, that they did not want to come but their mom made them, and that they are glad they came because it changed their life. Ana Valdez wrote that Realife has been life changing, that before coming they felt lost and alone, and that afterward they felt closer to God and that their heart was full and content.
