About
RCMA Mascotte Child Development Center serves children through Head Start and includes children with disabilities in age-appropriate classrooms. The program offers free childcare and VPK that include dual language early childhood education beyond daycare in a safe, loving environment.

RCMA Mascotte Child Development Center is part of RCMA, which began in Lake County in 1981. The mission of RCMA is to open doors to opportunities through quality child care and education from crib to high school and beyond. Ongoing training is provided for teachers and family support staff. Families are an integral part of decision making in the centers, and they are offered opportunities to grow and learn. Thanks to many community partners, emergency needs of families are addressed, and more resources are needed to expand services to families and their children.
