City of Miami Gardens Parks & Recreation Youth Programs and Camps

City of Miami Gardens Parks & Recreation Youth Programs and Camps offers a wide range of activities, including sports such as volleyball, 3 on 3 Basketball League, Monstarz Basketball, football and cheer, Tiny Tots Sports Academy, baseball, recreational lacrosse, tennis, recreational soccer, boxing, wrestling, and the Sandsational Speed Camp By Tony Sands. The program also includes fitness and wellness options like Walking Club at Buccaneer Park and Bunche Park, ZUMBA Fitness, Steps Aerobics with a Twist, Aqua Fit, Aqua Pole, and Learn to Swim Youth Program and Sting Ray Swim Team. Participants can also take part in Community Skate Classes, gymnastics, martial arts, line dance, yoga, Paint With Faith, Haitian Creole language, dance class, violin class, photography and digital arts, chess, pickleball at Bunche Park, and free tutoring, along with Regular Camp, Shining Stars seasonal camp and afterschool programs, Future Stars teen and seasonal camp programs, Teen Camp, She Hoops Elite Day Camp, and the Learn to Swim Adult Program.

• Schedule: Program hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Paulette Murphy serves as Assistant City Manager, with Jackie Shakespeare as Deputy Director and Naomi Legagneur as Assistant Director for these programs. The First Serve Miami Tennis Outreach Program is included as part of the community involvement. Online registrations are available through the Online Recreation Activities website for upcoming camps and activities.
