Camp Sol Taplin includes activities such as art, music, sports, dance, Shabbat celebration, Color War, themed weeks, indoor and outdoor swimming, adapted sports, Judaic activities, visual arts, theater, and field trips. Weekly special events, weekly field trips, and a Shabbat celebration are part of the camp schedule. Programs are designed to include and support all children, including those with special needs, and the Special Needs Camps have a low counselor-to-camper ratio.
• Schedule: Camp weeks run as follows: Week 1 (06/08–06/12), Week 2 (06/15–06/19), Week 3 (06/22–06/26), Week 4 (06/29–07/03, with no camp on 07/03), Week 5 (07/06–07/10), Week 6 (07/13–07/17), Week 7 (07/20–07/24), Week 8 (07/27–07/31), and Week 9 (08/03–08/07).
• Price: Early Bird pricing until January 31: Members – ECA Families* $445, Variety & ECA Camp $445, Specialty Camp $495, Teen Travel $545; Non-Members – +$150 per week plus $10/week camper security fee. Spring pricing until May 31: Members – ECA Families* $475, Variety & ECA Camp $545, Specialty Camp $575, Teen Travel $600; Non-Members – +$150 per week plus $10/week camper security fee. Regular pricing starting June 1: Members – ECA Families* $495, Variety & ECA Camp $595, Specialty Camp $655, Teen Travel $655; Non-Members – +$150 per week plus $10/week camper security fee. Children's Trust financial aid is available for kids entering K through entering 6th grade, including those with special needs, for an 8-week summer program, with online applications due by April 1, 2026, and a minimum commitment of four weeks; specialty camps are not eligible.
Kosher lunch and snacks are provided daily at Camp Sol Taplin, and no outside food is permitted on the MARJCC campus. The program uses indoor and outdoor swimming pools, three playgrounds, more than 25 different specialists, 12 tennis courts, two athletic complexes, a full-size theater, and air-conditioned spaces for activities. The Sports Specialty Camp program is led by certified coaches, and on-campus security is provided.
Camp Sol Taplin is part of the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center (MARJCC), a non-profit that offers preschool, after school care, fitness, sports, arts, and adult programs. The MARJCC has been part of the North Miami Beach community for more than 40 years and is committed to enriching Jewish life and fostering a welcoming environment steeped in Jewish family values.
