Fantasy Theatre Factory Theater for Young Audiences Programs features educational shows focused on the environment, literacy, and diversity. The program includes field trip productions of these educational shows, touring educational theater shows, and educational field trips at the Sandrell Rivers Theater and the Tampa Theater. Fantasy Theatre Factory also presents world class special event entertainment such as stilt walkers, giant puppets, magicians, jugglers, balloon artists, uni-cyclists, puppeteers, holiday and environmental characters, and strolling interactive characters.

Fantasy Theatre Factory places its greatest programmatic emphasis on Theater for Young Audiences and uses professional adult performers to provide cultural programming for children and family audiences. Its Theater for Young Audiences programs focus on childhood literacy and ecology, with additional programming areas that include fitness, history, diversity, self esteem, peer pressure, and bullying prevention. Fantasy Theatre Factory produces cultural arts workshop residency programs that serve at-risk youth, children with disabilities, and general population students, and also offers the CAP@SRT Residency, which provides no-cost rehearsal and performance space, production assistance, and professional development.

Fantasy Theatre Factory is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit theater that was established in 1978 and incorporated in 1982, with over 40 years of work in the arts and an extensive state-wide and international touring operation. It is the managing operator of the Sandrell Rivers Theater and produces additional programs there, including the Sunshine Jazz Organization Monthly Concert Series, The Moth StorySLAM open-mic storytelling competition, the Art@SRT exhibition series, and the New Year, New Works! new play competition, as well as providing theater rentals for diverse community organizations. Each year Fantasy Theatre Factory produces well over 500 programs that reach over 150,000 people across South Florida, the state, and internationally.

Fantasy Theatre Factory states that diversity, equity, and inclusion are foundational to its mission and that it exists to make arts and culture accessible to more people of all cultures and backgrounds.
