Fantasy Theatre Factory Theater for Young Audiences Programs features educational shows, field trip productions, educational field trips, and touring educational theater shows performed by professional adult performers for children and family audiences. The program also includes cultural arts workshop residency programs, special event entertainment with performers such as jugglers, stilt-walkers, magicians, balloon artists, uni-cyclists, puppeteers, giant puppets, and strolling interactive characters, as well as auditions for touring educational theater shows. Additional activities connected to the program include the Say Gay Theatre Festival, the Sunshine Jazz Organization Monthly Concert Series, The Moth StorySLAM, the Art@SRT art exhibition series, the New Year, New Works! new play competition, and theater rentals.

Fantasy Theatre Factory is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit theater that was established in 1978 and incorporated in 1982. Its Theater for Young Audiences programs place a primary focus on childhood literacy and ecology, with additional focus areas that include fitness, history, diversity, self esteem, peer pressure, and bullying prevention. Fantasy Theatre Factory has an extensive state-wide and international touring operation and produces well over 500 programs each year that reach over 150,000 people across South Florida, the state, and internationally. The organization’s stated mission is to make arts and culture accessible to more people of all cultures and backgrounds, and it has an accessibility policy to comply with all requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Fantasy Theatre Factory at the Sandrell Rivers Theater also has a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement that affirms that diversity, equity, and inclusion are foundational to its mission and that it always has been and always will be for everyone.
