Grow for Children and Climb for Youth After-School Programs

Grow for Children and Climb for Youth After-School Programs are part of the Branches menu of services, which also includes Achieve for Adults. These after-school programs are offered by Branches, a local Miami nonprofit that partners with families to build educational and financial assets, community and hope. Branches uses a two generation, or “2-Gen” approach that focuses on the interconnected well-being of all family members and provides a continuum of support through its programs.

Branches was established in 1973 as the urban and social justice agency of what is now the South East District of the United Methodist Church. Branches employs highly-qualified staff who are experts in their field. Branches holds DCF License #C11MD2773 and DCF License #C11MD2775. Branches leads the Miami VITA Free Tax Preparation Coalition, is the largest provider of free financial coaching services in Miami, and is the only IRS-certified Acceptance Agent providing free ITIN preparation services in the area. Branches partners with the local community to leverage resources, promote collective impact and address systemic issues, and takes a holistic approach that includes long-term relationships, coaching and empowerment methodologies.
