My First Place Preschool

My First Place Preschool includes activities such as exploration, discovery, creating, play, experimentation, and conversation. The program uses a STEAM Room as part of these experiences.

• Ages: 1–5 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm with programs for 12-month-olds through 5-year-olds, including Morning and After-School Care

My First Place Preschool has been operating since 1991 and has been in operation for over 30 years. The program states that its main objective is to provide a safe, loving, and encouraging environment where children can learn through exploration and discovery, with a goal of educating the whole child in cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development, together with parental support. The staff is described as highly qualified and ready to provide a learning experience to all the children. The program is a member of the Early Learning Coalition, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and the Florida Association for Childcare Management (FACCM), and is licensed by the Department of Children and Families. Open enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year opens on January 19, 2026.
