Tamiami Park Youth Afterschool and Summer Programs include public swim, a Learn2Swim program, and year-round use of the pool facility. The program also offers a range of tennis options, including adult tennis clinics, private tennis lessons, a tennis hitting partner, afterschool tennis programs (Tiny Tots, QuickStart, Junior, and Pre-Academy/Academy), and summer tennis camps for QuickStart and Junior players. Additional options include the Fit2Play Summer Camp Program and the Therapeutic Recreation & Inclusion Afterschool Program, where participants follow a rotating schedule of physical fitness, literacy, art, and music activities and receive homework help.

• Schedule: Office hours run Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.; pool office hours run Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–9 p.m., Saturday noon–4 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m.–5 p.m.; public swim is available Monday–Friday noon–3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.–9 p.m., Saturday noon–4 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m.–5 p.m.; the Tennis Center is open Monday–Friday 2 p.m.–9 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.–1 p.m.; Fit2Play Summer Camp runs 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; the Therapeutic Recreation & Inclusion Afterschool Program runs 2 p.m.–6 p.m.; Tennis Center Summer Camps offer half-day (9 a.m.–noon) and full-day (9 a.m.–3 p.m.) options.
• Price: Swim fees are $3 per child or adult and $2 per senior; Fit2Play Summer Camp Program costs $45 per week with a $15 registration fee; the Therapeutic Recreation & Inclusion Afterschool Program has a $15 one-time, non-refundable registration fee; Tennis Center Summer Camps cost $185 per week for half-day and $285 per week for full-day.
The pools for recreational swim have a minimum age requirement of 3 years old. Transportation is available from select schools for the Therapeutic Recreation & Inclusion Afterschool Program. ParkLink can be used to sign up for activities and programs, register for events, rent facilities, and pay fees. The program is part of the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces department, led by Director Christina White.
