10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Miami Youth Programs include Tiny Tots Jiu-Jitsu, Kids Jiu-Jitsu, and Kids Striking, along with related training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, no-gi grappling, MMA, and Combat Jiu-Jitsu. The youth programs place emphasis on listening, teamwork, respect, safety, and discipline, and every class is described as challenging both body and mind while teaching practical self-defense through specific activities like striking and grappling. Tiny Tots Jiu-Jitsu focuses on coordination, focus, confidence, basic movement, balance, and beginner self-defense skills through games and interactive drills, while Kids Jiu-Jitsu teaches authentic 10th Planet No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu and real self-defense skills and Kids Striking blends fundamentals of kickboxing and striking in an age-appropriate format.

Tiny Tots Jiu-Jitsu is described as serving children ages 3–6, Kids Jiu-Jitsu serves ages 7–12, and the Kids Striking program in Miramar is described as serving ages 7 and up. The program is part of an inclusive training environment for all ages and levels, including men, women, teens, and kids, and is described as family friendly and laid back. 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Miami Youth Programs are part of a proud affiliate of the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Miami system, where students train in the authentic 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu system with innovative No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu techniques that go beyond traditional martial arts and focus on techniques that are practical, fluid, and highly effective for real-life self-defense and mixed martial arts (MMA). The academy is described as a hub of martial arts innovation and camaraderie and a community that feels like family where members push, encourage, and celebrate each other, with Friday night competition class and Saturday morning classes taught by an MMA veteran and active competitor.

The broader 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu system was founded by Jean Jacques Machado Black Belt and Jiu Jitsu legend Eddie Bravo and is described as a globally recognized approach developed and refined by world champions. 10th Planet Miami was founded by 10th Planet Black Belt Gabriel Tejada, who is a 10th Planet Black Belt under Eddie Bravo Black Belts Jim Holland and Zach Maslaney and has been ranked under Daniel Gracie, and he serves as Owner and Head Professor. The leadership team also includes Mike Miguel as Head Striking Coach and Assistant Jiu Jitsu Coach, Estella Fernandez as Gym Manager and Assistant Coach, Alejandro Tellez as Assistant Striking and Jiu Jitsu Coach, and Anthony Molina Valdes as an athlete and professor at 10th Planet Miami. Mike Miguel is a Jiu-Jitsu black belt in the 10th Planet system under Gabe Tejada, has over a decade of experience training many different styles of grappling (jiu-jitsu, wrestling, judo) and striking (boxing, kickboxing, muay thai), and has fought multiple times in amateur MMA in the state of Florida. Estella Fernandez has been training for close to a decade and has achieved the rank of Brown Belt under the 10th Planet Miami flag, while Alejandro Tellez has over 10 years of experience on the mats and in the cage and is an MMA veteran and active competitor. Anthony Molina Valdes has a collection of ADCC podium appearances and gold medals, has competed on the Professional Grapplers League in Alabama, is described as one of the most prolific leg lockers in the system and one of the most active competitors in the game, and has been training for going on 15 years.
