Certified teachers, dedicated staff, and caring volunteers support Boys & Girls Club of Collier County members through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers, which work in close partnership with schools and provide structured academic support, targeted instruction, and enrichment aligned with classroom learning. The Clubhouses serve 4,600 Collier County children and teens and include dedicated teen centers, restaurant-grade kitchens and cafeterias, and a variety of sports and recreational spaces. The mission of Boys & Girls Club of Collier County is to provide a place where youth can make discoveries about themselves and engage in educational and recreational activities in a safe environment led by positive role models and leaders. Transportation is available from many local schools to the Clubhouses, and Lights on Afterschool is described as a nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their role in the lives of children, families, and communities. Reported outcomes include 83% of members maintaining or increasing benchmark scores in English, Language Arts, Reading, or Mathematics, 98% of Club members being promoted to the next grade level on time, and 97% of all seniors graduating from high school.
