Wheels Skate Park & BMX Track Programs include skate clinics, skate camps, late skate socials, and skate competitions. The skate park offers a dynamic flow to skaters of all ages. Wheels Skate/BMX Park showcases dozens of competitions throughout the year for both children and adults, and Wheels Skate Park provides skaters the opportunity for social interaction during the late skate socials and a place to demonstrate their skills during skate competitions. Wheels Skate Park & BMX Track park hours are Monday–Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the park is closed on Sunday, with the schedule subject to change due to weather conditions, track conditions, and special events. Wheels Skate Park & BMX Track amenities include 2 meeting rooms, a game room, rest rooms, a band shell, a skate park, and a National Bicycle League (USA) sanctioned BMX track.

The program is part of Golden Gate Community Center, which is one of Collier County’s busiest parks and is located in central Collier County where many families rely on Parks to care for their children with services through after school and summer camp programs. The leadership team connected to this program includes Director James Hanrahan; Parks Facilities Manager Eric Short; Parks Operations Manager Jeanine McPherson; and Regional Managers Marissa Baker for Region 2, Said Gomez for Region 3, and Randi Swinderman for Region 4, with the Region 1 Regional Manager position listed as vacant. The organization’s vision is “To enrich the quality of life of the people we serve,” and its mission is “To provide safe and sustainable leisure and recreational opportunities for the communities we serve.” Wheels Skate & BMX Park includes a National Bicycle League (USA) sanctioned BMX track.
