About the provider
RLMA Martial Arts has taught Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, and Taekwondo in New Port Richey since 2004. Professor Regis Lima leads the school. He earned his Taekwondo black belt under Fabio Goulart, became regional, state, and national champion in 1998, earned a silver medal at the U.S. Open in 2007, earned a bronze medal at the Pan IBJJF in 2021, and was promoted to Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2024 by Professor Marcio “Pe de Pano” Cruz. The school says its mission is to transform lives, one person at a time, through martial arts, education, and coaching.
Parents are encouraged to watch their children in kids martial arts lessons. For kids martial arts, parents do not need to stay during classes. The site says no one needs to be very fit to start. It says martial arts is an individual sport done in a group environment. It also says most students are grinning from ear to ear by the end of the class.
