The Hub on Canal Youth Art Programs take place on The Hub on Canal campus at Jane's Art Center in a modern new facility featuring studios and classrooms. The program is connected with events such as the Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition on Canal Street.
• Schedule: Open Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–5pm
The Hub on Canal Youth Art Programs are part of The Hub, which was conceived in 2010 as a place where the whole community could gather to experience a wide-ranging expression of the arts. The three founding friends sought to break down barriers to access. The Hub opened in 2012, and through 2022 more than 375,000 people have experienced its offerings. The Hub and Jane's emerged on the arts scene 7 years apart with a common public purpose to nurture the arts in the community. On March 30, 2023, The Hub announced and accepted the gift of Jane's Art Center from Terry Jane England.
