Nokido Jujitsu, Judo & BJJ offers Junior Beginner Ju-Jitsu and Judo, Adult Beginner Ju-Jitsu and Judo, Advanced Ju-Jitsu and Judo, Junior BJJ, Adult BJJ, No Gi BJJ, Home School Intro to Ju-Jitsu, Beginner Little Samurai, Advanced Little Samurai, and Ladies Only. The classes include fundamental ju-jitsu, judo, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques, live grappling, no-gi training, and self-defense techniques.

- Junior Beginner Ju-Jitsu and Judo — Ages 8 through 15 · Mon, Wed 5:00 PM-6:00 PM; Tue, Thu 5:00 PM-6:00 PM · Students learn fundamental ju-jitsu and judo techniques that apply to real world self-defense scenarios.
- Adult Beginner Ju-Jitsu and Judo — Ages 16 and older · Tue, Thu 7:00 PM-8:15 PM · Students learn fundamental ju-jitsu and judo techniques that apply to real world self-defense scenarios.
- Advanced Ju-Jitsu and Judo — All ages · Fri 7:00 PM-8:15 PM · Students learn self-defense techniques that build upon the fundamentals learned in the beginner classes.
- Junior BJJ — Ages 6 through 15 · Mon 6:00 PM-7:00 PM · All skill levels. Students learn the fundamental concepts and techniques of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, preparing them for competition. This class includes live grappling.
- Adult BJJ — Ages 16 and older · Mon 7:00 PM-8:00 PM; Tue, Wed 6:00 PM-7:00 PM · All skill levels. Students learn the fundamental concepts and techniques of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, including practicing live grappling.
- No Gi BJJ — Thu 6:00 PM-7:00 PM · Students learn the fundamental concepts and techniques of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu without wearing the gi, including practicing live grappling.
- Home School Intro to Ju-Jitsu — Thu 4:00 PM-5:00 PM · Students learn the fundamental concepts and techniques of both real world self-defense and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu without wearing the gi.
- Beginner Little Samurai — Ages 4 through 9 · Mon 4:00 PM-5:00 PM; Fri 5:00 PM-6:00 PM · Students learn fundamental techniques that apply to real world self-defense scenarios.
- Advanced Little Samurai — Ages 4 through 9 · Fri 6:00 PM-7:00 PM · Students learn self-defense techniques that build upon the fundamentals learned in the beginner classes.
- Ladies Only — All skill levels · Select dates and times · Train in a comfortable environment with other ladies. Students learn self-defense techniques in addition to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and get to apply what they learn through live grappling.

About the provider
Sensei Chris Ritchie is the current owner and operator of Nokido Jujitsu, Judo & BJJ in North Port, Florida. In 2001, Nokido Ju-Jitsu was certified by the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation and International Ju-Jitsu Federation, and the school is also certified by the USJA, Wolf Pack BJJ, and Jujitsu America. Nokido says students have produced many Judo and Ju-Jitsu champions, including National Champions.
First lesson is free. Visitors are encouraged to observe class and speak with staff before trying a full lesson. Beginners and those with previous training are welcome.
