Camp Dovewood is a Christian summer camp for girls that offers activities such as horseback riding, Florida trail rides, ballet, drama, photography, archery, swimming, Bible, and river rafting. Campers choose from over 24 activities and participate in seven activities they have selected from this list. Wednesdays and Saturdays include trail rides and river rafting as part of the program.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: Daily schedule includes morning chapel before breakfast, four classes in the morning, three classes in the afternoon, and a night program, with lights out at 9:30 or 10:00 p.m.
Camp Dovewood has been helping Christian girls ages 7–14 grow as children of God for over 35 years and is celebrating over 49 years of dynamic Christian camping. The camp gives young girls and teens a fun-filled environment where they can polish their talents, make long-lasting friendships and strengthen their relationship with the Lord, and it follows an interdenominational approach so girls of all faiths can share with one another as sisters in Christ. Each activity is led by a strong group of female Christian role models and directors. Dovewood is accredited with the American Camping Association, the Certified Horsemanship Association, and is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association, and it operates as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization.
