Camp Dovewood

Camp Dovewood is a Christian equestrian residential summer camp for girls ages 7-14. Campers choose from more than 24 activities, including horseback riding, ballet, drama, photography, archery, swimming, and Bible. Campers attend Chapel before breakfast, and Wednesdays and Saturdays include trail rides and river rafting.

Camp Dovewood has been helping Christian girls ages 7-14 grow as children of God for over 35 years, and the site also states, "This year we celebrate over 49 years of dynamic Christian camping." The leadership team listed is Jim and Roberta Richmond, with Roberta Richmond as Director and Sarah Smart as Assistant Director. The program is accredited with the American Camping Association and Certified Horsemanship Association, and is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association.
