The program offers flexible scheduling with options for full-time or part-time care, and schedules can be adjusted from week to week. Financial assistance or tuition discounts are available, including employer, sibling, military, and public programs. A wellness screening is located near the Family Communication Area, and there is an emphasis on emotional wellness with daily lessons in community building and character development.

Only authorized staff and families may enter sites, and all children must be signed in and out on a paper-based roster and/or computer system. Only pre-approved people with photo identification may pick up a child from the program, and written authorization must be on file before a child is released to anyone. Sites include smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, are cleaned daily with safe, non-toxic cleaning products, and most sites offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Outdoor play is supervised and conducted on safe, secure outdoor play spaces, there are strict policies for administering medication, and each site has an emergency evacuation plan that is tested frequently. A National Support Center crisis team supports each center during and after emergencies.
