Forest Trails Playschool has been providing play-based nature programs to children in the Central Florida area since 2023. Its mission is to provide a play-based, nature immersion program that cultivates a deep connection to nature, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. The program harnesses the power of nature so children can thrive in play-based nature immersion programs, where learning unfolds naturally through meaningful, play-based experiences and children develop early academic, social, and emotional skills while cultivating resilience, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Educational memberships include the Natural Start Alliance (NSA), the North American Association of Environmental Education (NAAEE), and the League of Environmental Educators in Florida (LEEF). Forest Trails Playschool commits to creating an educational and social environment in which families and educators of diverse backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, and expressly valued, and all programs are open to families of all histories, backgrounds, genders, identities and abilities. The program does not discriminate based on race, sex, gender identity, gender preference, nationality, religion, or ableness.
