Rio Golf Academy offers private lessons, group lessons, group clinics, golf schools, junior summer golf camps, on-course play, supervised practice and play, and tournament play. The program uses a multi-dimensional approach to golf instruction with a three-dimensional, multi-academy structure that includes three specialized academies under one roof and follows a “Learn, Practice, Play” philosophy. It is a comprehensive golf training facility that serves players of all skill levels, from adult and junior beginners to competitive adults and juniors, college players, competitive amateurs, and PGA/LPGA professionals, and offers residential, part-time, and full-time golf development programs, including a pathway to college scholarships or professional golf careers.

Rio Golf Academy features a TechnoGym-equipped performance gym, a Trackman 4 Studio and Range, SAM PuttLab and Putting Studio, BodiTrack and BAL.ON Pressure Mapping Systems, 3D Golf Biodynamics, ELVA Technology, and Thrive Golf Mind Performance as part of its cutting-edge technology infrastructure. The instructional staff is anchored by Gregor Tilch, owner of Rio Pinar Golf and a coach with experience mentoring PGA and LPGA Tour players, national teams, and elite collegiate athletes, along with PGA-certified instructors Tom Jackson, Peter Bakker, and Mike Byrnes. Leadership roles include Peter Bakker as Director of Instruction for Rio Junior Golf Academy, Mike Byrnes as Director of Instruction for Rio Golf Academy “Learn, Practice, Play,” and Gregor Tilch as Director of Instruction for Rio High-Performance Golf Academy. The mission of Rio Golf Academy is to coach, train, and mentor every student with a personalized approach that helps them realize their full potential and become the best version of themselves on and off the course. In partnership with the coaches at Rio Junior Golf Academy, College Golf Connect works with students to secure golf scholarships and navigate junior golf and college recruitment, and students at Rio Junior Golf Academy compete on two of Florida’s premier junior tours and get noticed by top NCAA college coaches.
