Sarasota Crew

Sarasota Crew offers summer camps, Clinic 1, Clinic 2, Erg Fitness Class, Youth Winter Camps, Youth Speed Order Opportunity, private lessons, semi-private lessons, and Masters Symposiums. Summer camps meet Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the Erg Fitness Class meets Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Summer camps are available in Osprey and Nathan Benderson Park, and rowers are grouped by age and skill.

Programs

• Summer Camps — Anyone entering 3-12 grades; returning 3-7th graders · Mon-Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm · $225–$325 · Available in Osprey and Nathan Benderson Park; rowers are grouped by age and skill.
• Clinic 1 — Individuals entering 8th or 9th grade; experience required · Varies by session · $300–$425 · For those planning to move from middle school program to high school program.
• Clinic 2 — Experienced rowers with a high school team · Varies by session · $425–$800 · Highest intensity workouts during their sessions.
• Erg Fitness Class — Wednesday and Friday 9:30-10:30 am · 60-minute, music-based, full-body workout designed to build endurance, strength, and cardiorespiratory fitness while championing proper erg technique.
• Youth Winter Camps — Youth · November 2026 · Youth Winter Camps & Speed Order Opportunity.
• Youth Speed Order Opportunity — Youth · November 2026 · Small Boat Camp entry can include entry into Speed Order; men's and women's youth 2- and 1x's available.
• Masters Symposiums — Adult rowers · January and February 2027 · On-water rows, video sessions, and on-land seminars.

About the provider

Sarasota Crew was created in 2002, and over 2000 youth have benefited from its development program. The club says it uses competitive rowing to promote strong character, high integrity, positive self-concept, contribution to community, and a healthful lifestyle for youth and adults in Sarasota county and surrounding communities. It has been Florida State Champions for 16 years running from 2011 to 2026, USRowing Southeast Regional Champions for 15 years running from 2012 to 2026, and USRowing Youth National Champions in 2013, 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Clinic levels are only offered at Osprey. Some clinic sessions will be offered at Osprey and some at Nathan Benderson Park. The youth Speed Order states only those eligible for the 2027 U19 National Team will be eligible for the HP Camp Invite.
