About
Children's World offers before and after school programs that include transportation to and from all local schools, after school homework help, and healthy outdoor play in multiple playgrounds. The program includes academically enriched, play-based activities in a setting with multiple playgrounds and recreation areas. All programs are described as rooted in developmental best practices and take place in a safe and secure environment with security cameras in all buildings.

Children’s World day care operates four facilities that provide an enriched daycare program for children from infancy through age 12, as well as the Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) Program. The mission of Children's World is to provide a loving, safe, nurturing, and stimulating day care environment in which children can learn. For pickup, parents must list in writing the names of everyone approved to pick up their children, and the center will only release a child to someone on that list unless written permission is faxed with the name of the person picking up the child.
The leadership team includes Director Tammie Johnson and Assistant Director Brittany McDaniel. Teachers at Children’s World are described as experienced, compassionate, committed, and passionate about nurturing every child’s development and success, and the center maintains a low teacher-to-child ratio. Tammie Johnson has a CDA and Director’s Credentials and is also a VPK teacher, and Brittany McDaniel has a national CDA and a Director Credential.
Families have shared that they “love Children’s World,” describe it as “very family oriented,” and say the teachers are “amazing” and “very hands-on.” Parents and caregivers report that staff “work with your children to meet their individual needs,” are “helping my daughter speak better,” and that they are “very very happy” with the care their children receive. Multiple caregivers state that they “love the staff and everything they do” and call it the “best learning childcare center in this area.”
