Upward Gymnastics offers a range of activities including Preschool Gymnastics, a Developmental Program, a Competitive Team, a Champions Team, Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling, a Ninja Program, and Birthdays. The program operates as one of the largest gymnastics multi-sport academies in Florida and includes four satellite gymnastics programs in Pasco and Pinellas counties. Upward Gymnastics is expanding and moving into a brand-new location in Palm Harbor.
• Schedule: Class and program options are available Monday–Saturday during daytime and evening hours, with specific operating hours listed as Monday 10:00am–1:30pm and 4:00pm–8:30pm, Tuesday 9:00am–1:30pm and 4:00pm–8:30pm, Wednesday 10:00pm–1:30pm and 4:00pm–8:30pm, Thursday 4:00pm–8:00pm, Friday 10:00am–1:30pm and 4:00pm–8:30pm, and Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm
Cindy Gwinn is the owner of Upward Gymnastics Academy. She attended Western Michigan University as a Bronco scholarship gymnast and earned a degree in Education. She has a Level 10 Judges USA Gymnastics rating and has held a position on the Team Florida AAU board for over 20 years, and she remains the Team Florida Judges Coordinator. The program’s stated mission is “Building strong minds, strong bodies, and successful habits, one child at a time!” From 2016–2018, Cindy Gwinn founded Uncorked and Uncapped for the Cause, which organized fundraising events that donated over $60,000.00 to the American Cancer Society and donated to local Pasco County cancer families, and she is an active participant in Trinity's Relay for Life event.
