Children and Family Services – Camp Programs is part of The Arc of Palm Beach County’s Children and Family Services, alongside its charter school, respite services, and AmeriCorps. The camp programs are one of the ways the organization delivers services directly to individuals with developmental disabilities from infancy through adulthood, as well as to families in need of support. The programs are focused on empowering children and adults with developmental disabilities.
The Arc of Palm Beach County was incorporated in 1958. Its mission is to change the conversation around disabilities by defying definitions, inspiring possibilities, and improving the lives of the people it serves, their families, and the community. The organization envisions a community where every person feels welcome, connected, and accepted. Every year, it serves more than 3,500 families. The Arc of Palm Beach County has received recognition that includes earning a $100,000 top prize.
