Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County – Palmetto Boys & Girls Club offers children and teens afterschool and summer programs that focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and citizenship. The program also offers daily access to a range of programs in four core areas: Academic Success, Good Character and Leadership, Healthy Lifestyles, and Life and Workforce Readiness. All activities take place at the Palmetto Boys & Girls Club.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County has been impacting the lives of children and teens in Manatee County since 1946. Its mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County is celebrating 80 years of impact with 80th Anniversary events.
The Palmetto Boys & Girls Club leadership team includes Jerrell Robles as Club Director, Jordon Murrell as Club Program Director, and Jessica Mooney as Teen Program Manager. The organizational leadership includes Dawn Stanhope as President / CEO, Jonathan Evans as Chief Operating Officer, and Kelli Dixon as Chief Development Officer. Additional leadership and management roles include John Agnelli as Director of Advocacy and Strategic Initiatives, Drue Duerschmidt as Marketing & Communications Director, Jorge Feliciano as Director of Human Resources, Jonathan Veldman as Finance Director, Michael Wood as Development Director of Outcomes and Grants, Jermaine Ashley as Volunteer & Community Relations Manager, Kimberly Jenkins as Data & Compliance Manager and Alumni Relations Coordinator, Sandy Collazo as Office Manager, Korey Waters as Prevention Manager, Sean Byrnes as Facilities, Maintenance and Transportation Manager, Leann Frink as Organizational Trainer, and Alison ElMahdi as Human Resources Generalist.
