Grace School Programs is an outreach ministry of Grace Presbyterian Church for the Panama City area. Its mission states that it provides a safe, stimulating and loving Christian witness to families and children attending the school programs, with age-appropriate programs that include inside and outside play, art, music, language and Bible stories and are designed to encourage growth socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually. The programs follow a philosophy that each child is a unique child of God who grows, develops and learns at his or her own rate, and the staff realizes that play is learning for children. The programs strive to be an outward extension of the home.
Grace School Programs are licensed by The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The Elementary After School Care program has low student/teacher ratios. The director, Susan Ackermann, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and has been with Grace Preschool for over 30 years.
