Camp Fire Gulf Wind Youth Programs operates in a supportive, positive environment that provides safe, fun, constructive activities for children and adults. The organization’s mission is to help America’s youth prepare for life by valuing children and youth, recognizing them as contributors to society, honoring their journey from birth to adulthood, and fostering their development from dependence, to independence, to interdependence. Camp Fire translates its values into action through volunteer development, group experiences, mentoring relationships, youth decision making, embracing diverse populations, community collaborations and partnerships, advocacy, experiential learning, self-reflection, and fun.

The leadership team includes La-Vonne Haven, Executive Director/CEO (Ext. 105); Vicki Terrell, Office Manager & Bookkeeper (Ext. 103); McKenzie Cooper, Marketing & PR Manager (Ext. 104); and Vanna English, Director.
