About

Pensacola MESS Hall Educational Programs, Camps, and Afterschool offers hands-on science experiences that include field trips, outreach visits, day camps, afterschool programs, birthday parties, and adult programs. The program also runs special themed activities such as Family Science Night, Family Math Night, Science Story And Tinker Time, Curiosity Day, Bridge Building, Pi Day, robotics, Science Night Live: Earth Day, Science Explorers After School, and field trips for other groups. It also participates in partnership and grant-funded booths.

• Schedule: School year hours are Tuesday–Friday 12 PM–5 PM and Saturday 10 AM–5 PM, with extended hours for school breaks.
• Price: Prescheduled group visits receive a discounted admission of $13 per person for everyone ages 3 and up, including adults.

The Pensacola MESS Hall Educational Programs, Camps, and Afterschool are part of a hands-on science museum that encourages visitors to “mess around” and plan their own experiments to learn more about the natural world. Program availability differs between the school year and summer break, with programming targeted to different needs. The organization’s mission is to inspire curiosity, experimentation, and creative problem solving through exploration of math, engineering, science, and stuff. The Pensacola MESS Hall is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, led by Executive Director Megan Pratt. The organization expands its reach into the community through outreach booths and offers a limited number of free or discounted booths for community events, and preplanning is encouraged because booths are booked 3–12 months in advance.
