Founded in 1990, Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Florida is the Head Start and Early Head Start grantee for Taylor County, Florida. Its mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The Boys & Girls Club of North Central Florida is the Head Start & Early Head Start grantee for Taylor County Florida. It serves children starting at six weeks of age. The programs are housed in seven locations: Veteran’s Park Club, the Teen Club, Steinhatchee Stingray Club, Shady Grove Club, Mayo Unit, Early Head Start and Head Start.
