About
Treeline Enrichment – Forest Play Programs offers outdoor sensory experiences and physical play in a forest setting. The program includes immersive forest play experiences where kids lead, explore, and spend time in nature. It also offers TimberNook forest play programs for children of all abilities and nature-connected occupational therapy in an indoor-outdoor clinic with home-like indoor spaces and a fenced outdoor play yard.
• Schedule: Group semesters begin in Fall and Spring; additional pop-up programs are offered throughout the year.
Serving families since 2019, Treeline Enrichment – Forest Play Programs follows the mission statement “Empowering Kids, Inspiring Connection, Embracing Nature.” Treeline Enrichment is proud to accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship – Unique Abilities for OT services, and TimberNook Forest Play Programs at Treeline are approved direct pay programs for FES-UA and PEP scholarships. The program has a no-weapons policy on the premises except as otherwise permitted by state law, and tools such as carving knives and saws are allowed when expressly provided or approved by staff for supervised therapeutic, educational, or program-related activities. One parent shared that their child is excited to attend each week and has reached goals related to handling dirt, learning safe spaces, and understanding wandering limits. Another parent described Treeline Enrichment as a resource for a 12-year-old who enjoys the outdoors and imaginative play, noting that he participates with peers who share similar interests and explores nature in an active, creative, and safe way. A staff member reported seeing many friendships formed and a new love of nature developed during the immersion in nature that the program offers.
