Living Water Surf School

Living Water Surf School offers Summer Camp, Surf Lessons, Surf Parties and Surf Events, and Guided Surf Trips. Summer Camp includes surfing, beach games, snorkeling, tubing, and ocean safety, and Surf Lessons are offered as 1-hour private lessons, semi-private lessons, private group lessons, large group lessons, and competitive training.

Programs

• Summer Camp — 5-18 · Week-long summer camp · Includes surfing, beach games, snorkeling, tubing, ocean safety, and more. Water safety is at the core of every activity. CPR certified and lifeguard trained instructors.
• Surf Lessons — All ages and all skill levels · 1 hour lessons · Private lessons, semi-private lessons, private group lessons, large group lessons, and competitive training are offered.
• Surf Parties / Surf Events — Customizable surf events throughout South Florida.
• Guided Surf Trips — Guided surf trips offered to any place at any time.

At a glance

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• General schedule: Each morning starts with instruction at North Ocean Park, Pompano Beach. Campers participate in activities based on ocean conditions throughout each day.

About the provider

The program has 20 years of history. Its leadership includes former professional surfer William “Skeeter” Zimmerman, and the staff is made up of accomplished instructors. The program says water safety and ocean awareness are core themes, and it lists CPR certified instructors and lifeguard trained instructors.

No surfing experience necessary; must be able to swim. Camp includes ocean safety and ocean awareness instruction. Register by May 1st or March 1st for listed discounts.
