First Tee

First Tee offers core programs for ages 7-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14+. It also offers Teen Opportunities for age 14+ and Ace for high school teens. The program includes National Events, Scholars, the First Tee Alumni Network, events through that network, chaperone roles for alumni age 18 and older, and the First Tee School Program and First Tee Community Program.

Programs

• Core Programs — Age 7-9, age 10-11, age 12-13, age 14+
• Teen Opportunities — Age 14+ · Supports personal development and teaches teens to look toward their future and plan their own paths.
• Ace — High school teens · A capstone program for high school teens that points them toward exploring, investing in, and building a clear plan for their next step.
• National Events — A series of events for participants, allowing them to meet new people, play some golf, and achieve greatness.
• Scholars — First Tee College Scholarship Program designed to provide further support, life skill development and mentorship of alumni through their journey.
• Join the Network — The First Tee Alumni Network aims to foster life-long learning by supporting personal and professional journey after First Tee programming.
• Events — Through the First Tee Alumni Network, alum have access to many events that will foster networking and professional development.
• Chaperones — First Tee alumni age 18 years and older · First Tee alumni are eligible to serve as chaperones at several national First Tee participant opportunities.
• First Tee School Program — Program offered within the community and in schools.
• First Tee Community Program — Program offered within the community and in local youth serving organizations.

First Tee began in 1997 as a partnership among the LPGA, the Masters Tournament, the PGA of America, the PGA TOUR, and the USGA. Its mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character and instill life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
