About the provider

Coach Dom, also listed as Dominic Gonzalez, leads the academy. Coach Dominic Gonzalez has over 13 years of training and teaching experience and is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. The academy states that it has an authentic Gracie lineage under Royce Gracie and serves students from North Port, Venice, Englewood, Port Charlotte, and Nokomis.

New students can book a free trial class. Prior martial arts experience is not required. Safety is stated as a top priority. Memberships include unlimited monthly classes. Adult classes run Monday through Friday in morning and evening slots. The academy says it supports both competition and recreational training.
