About the provider

Florida Dance Workshop was founded in 1991 and has served Charlotte County since 1991. The studio says its staff is certified to teach in all styles of dance from Dance Masters of America, and it has repeatedly been named Charlotte County’s Best Performing Unit and voted Best Dance Studio by the Charlotte Sun. The page also says FDW students perform year-round throughout southwest Florida in charity events, competitions, and in their annual Showtime Production.

New students are always welcome for either recreational or career training. Class placement is based on experience and ability rather than yearly advancement; age may assist initial placement, but final placement is always up to the instructor and not based on age. The studio limits its competitive involvement to 3 competitive events per season.
