Firehouse Cultural Center Youth & Family Art Programs include FCC Kids Summer Camp, FL Drama Kids Camp, Youth Art: You and Me Paint the Sea, and classes such as Intro to the Pottery Wheel, Return to Painting, and Ocean Wave Jewelry. The Firehouse Cultural Center Youth & Family Art Programs are part of a 501c3 nonprofit organization first developed and sponsored as a project of the Ruskin Community Development Foundation, a nonprofit focused on significant community projects. Workshops are offered in partnership with the Tampa Museum of Art, and photography workshops draw inspiration from the exhibition Avant Garde: Remarkable Women in the Permanent Collection. The Firehouse Cultural Center opened full-time in 2013 after a proposal was approved in 2011, and its leadership team includes Executive Director Chris Bredbenner, Director of Operations Beth Ann Stein, and Administrative Specialist Tom Mastascusa.
