The Safety Harbor Art and Music Center (SHAMc) opened its doors in 2015. Its mission is to promote knowledge of and education in the fine arts, the visual arts, and the performing arts. SHAMc is a nonprofit organization and community space that celebrates art and music, offers workshops, performances, and exhibitions, and is powered by volunteers. Over 290 people volunteered to help create the mirror mosaics that permanently adorn the exterior of the building, and SHAMc also has community partners and sponsors. The leadership team includes Co-Founders Todd Ramquist, Kiaralinda, and Heather Richardson, along with Director Autumn Pearson and several coordinators, managers, and board members in roles such as marketing, operations, volunteer coordination, donations, and education.
