Safety Harbor Art and Music Center Youth Programs and Camps

Safety Harbor Art and Music Center Youth Programs and Camps offers Summer Camp, ARTstart, Tween Art Scene, Teen Takeover, Free Art Friday, and the FREE Garden Club Community Art Event. Summer Camp 2026 includes Teen Art Camp, Children's Theater Camp, Junkyard Jubilee Camp, Wild Makers Camp, Super Duper STEAM Camp, 2D Mystery Camp, and 3D Mystery Camp. ARTstart uses literacy and hands-on experiences with a wide variety of materials and mediums, Tween Art Scene offers hands-on creative art experiences with a professional teaching artist, Teen Takeover is an art and wellness adventure with all supplies and a snack, and Free Art Friday includes all supplies.

Programs

• Summer Camp — Ages 7-14; Teen camps ages 12-17 · Daily; 9:00 am-3:00 pm for ages 7-14, 10:00 am-4:00 pm for ages 12-17 · $230–$250 per week · 2026 summer camps included Teen Art Camp, Children's Theater Camp, Junkyard Jubilee Camp, Wild Makers Camp, Super Duper STEAM Camp, 2D Mystery Camp, and 3D Mystery Camp. Scholarships are available.
• ARTstart — Ages 4-7 · 1st and 3rd Monday of each month; 4:00 pm-5:00 pm · $10–$15 per class · Designed to help children develop a love for art through literacy and hands-on experiences with a wide variety of materials and mediums.
• Tween Art Scene — Ages 8-12 · 2nd and 4th Monday of each month; 4:00 pm-5:30 pm · $15–$25 per class · After-school hands-on creative art experiences with a professional teaching artist.
• Teen Takeover — Ages 13-17 · Teen Art Nights · Art + wellness adventure; all supplies and a snack provided; registration/reservation is not required.
• Free Art Friday — All ages · During Safety Harbor's 3rd Fridays; 5:00 pm-8:00 pm · $0 per class · All supplies included; bring your imagination and creativity.
• FREE Garden Club Community Art Event — All ages · $0 per class

About the provider

SHAMc opened its doors in 2015. It is a nonprofit organization and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. SHAMc says its mission is to promote knowledge of and education in the fine arts, the visual arts, and the performing arts. It says it is powered by volunteers and has hosted 350+ live performances, welcomed more than 700 artists, and brought thousands of people together through concerts, exhibitions, classes, camps, and community events.

Summer camps were full in 2026. SHAMc Members get a code for $20 off each week of camp and have priority registration before camps open to the general public. Scholarships are available through SHAMc. SHAMc reserves the right to cancel any class with less than 50% enrollment without obligation. Withdrawals must occur at least 2 days before the class starts. A refund minus a $25 administrative fee will be issued; after that, refunds are minus 50% of the class fee plus a $25 administrative fee, unless other arrangements are made with the instructor. Children 4 and under are free on tours.
