About the provider

Clark’s Self Defense was founded in 1999. Derrick Clark is the Head Instructor & Founder, Danny Clark is the Senior Instructor, and Magda Clark is the Director of Operations & Program Coordinator. Derrick Clark has more than 35 years of martial arts experience. The school was voted #1 for 2025 and 2026. Derrick Clark holds a 7th Degree Black Belt in Kempo Karate, a certified brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and is a certified Pressure Points Instructor. Danny Clark earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in Kempo Karate at age 12 and his 2nd Degree Black Belt at age 14. The school offers after-school programs and community events, and Derrick Clark regularly leads seminars, lectures, and demonstrations for schools, colleges, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations.

Paid monthly membership is $160/person per month, with a 25% discount for additional family members. Payments are non-refundable.
