Classes at Oh’s Martial Arts use real Taekwondo techniques, including blocks, strikes, forms, and self-defense, along with dynamic drills that build strength, stamina, confidence, and discipline. Instruction is age-specific for kids, teens, and adults, with progressive, modern, age-based teaching. The program emphasizes character development and values-based learning that includes focus, respect, self-control, resilience, courtesy, perseverance, modesty, integrity, and an indomitable spirit. The environment is described as inclusive, family-friendly, beginner-friendly, ego-free, and supportive, with high-energy, no-fluff workouts for adults. Families from Seminole, Bay Pines, Pinellas Park, Largo, and Indian Shores train at Oh’s Martial Arts and Oh’s Tae Kwon Do.
Parent testimonials describe Oh’s Martial Arts as changing their lives for the better and mention training that goes back to the early 1990s under the late Grandmaster Myun K. Oh. Parents report that their children are more confident, more respectful, more focused, more helpful at home, and that they enjoy classes and ask to go every day. One parent notes that a 4-year-old uses a breathing technique from class when frustrated at home. Families describe the instructors as kind, professional, encouraging, patient, energetic, welcoming, and supportive, and say their kids are safe, smiling, and learning real martial arts skills. Several parents highlight the summer camps as a big hit, with martial arts, field trips, bowling, and local pool visits, and describe the overall experience as positive for both kids and parents.
