Florida Disciples Youth Ministry Summer Camps & Winter Youth Retreat

Florida Disciples Youth Ministry Summer Camps & Winter Youth Retreat is part of the regional ministries that connect congregations and pastors to each other, to the wider church, and to resources they need to make a difference in their communities. The program takes place within a ministry that serves Haitian, Hispanic, African-American, and Anglo communities throughout Florida.

The Florida Disciples Youth Ministry Summer Camps & Winter Youth Retreat is supported by a leadership team that includes Regional Minister Sandy Messick; Regional Support Pastor - Haitian Ministry Merline Pierre; Director of The Retreat at Silver Springs Mary Beth Harper; Administrative Assistant Brenda Turrentine; Regional Support Pastor - Hispanic Ministry Selena Reyes Martinez; Digital Administrator Tina Christian; and Technology Consultant Michael Junkroski. The program is part of a region that is affiliated internationally with The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). This affiliation is with a body that has approximately 800,000 members in the United States and Canada and is described as the oldest, and one of the largest, groups founded on American soil.
